A candidate for Bedford's next town justice received a celebrity endorsement.
Actor Matt Damon showed support to close friend Clark Petschek in his run for Bedford Justice Court. Damon and Petschek's relationship dates back to when the two were roommates at Harvard. Petschek is running on the Republican and Bedford United lines. He's hoping to replace Judge Erik Jacobsen.
"Clark wants to take some of this hard fought wisdom from this life of his and take it to the bench and become a judge, something I think he will do exceptionally well,” Damon says.
